Workshops

Learning is a change in people's competency, which is retained, and which is not simply the result of natural growth.

Customized leadership development training is one facet of Succession Management. Developing leaders’ thinking, abilities, and competencies requires specialized learning; the result of focus, information, and repetition.

The programs we craft for you always strive to provide participants greater insight into their role, and capacity to enhance your organization’s capability, and strengthen your ability to produce results in teams. Your programs are always vetted to be real-world, real-time, experiential learning initiatives.

Participants receive tools and ideas that will broaden their knowledge, deepen their abilities, and improve their outcomes as leaders.

Insight Leadership Architecture

Maximizing leadership thinking, being, and doing.

Insight Leadership Architecture is NOT a:

  • Prescriptive data dump
  • One-size-fits-all formulaic script for management situations
  • Simplistic procedure for problem solving
  • Rote method for changing or developing new habits
  • Technique for fixing “others”

Insight Leadership Architecture IS:

A comprehensive, holistic approach to Leadership development that guides leaders to understand that who they are is the foundation of what they do which drives their results.

Based on years of research on the architecture of results, relationships, and thinking, Insight Leadership Architecture combines principles and tactics to help leaders profitably guide teams on an unfamiliar journey toward an uncertain but desirable future.

This Program is for managers and leaders who:

  • Are in mid-level positions or above
  • Have five or more years of management experience
  • Are competent task managers who recognize that leadership is a relational competency
  • Are confident enough to challenge themselves to be extraordinary

Our choices and decisions are limited by our conclusions and beliefs – our answers. While many leadership programs focus on answering your questions, Insight Leadership Architecture promises to question your answers.

Through a unique, question-based program, leaders will:

  • Examine their leadership mental models and paradigms
  • Extract their wisdom and experience
  • Expand their knowledge
  • Execute new and refined mental models and behaviors

Participants will learn the Four Leadership Foci and Four Heroic Qualities of Extraordinary Leadership™ and apply them to current and future real-world leadership situations and interactions. Each unique workshop combines both qualitative and quantitative aspects, drawing on the background and goals of the leaders involved.

Leaders strive and struggle to make organizations run better; they want teams to be more productive, projects to move faster, and people to adapt more quickly and perform more creatively.

Your responsibility as a leader is to anticipate, plan for, and engage change as it moves toward, around, and within the organization.

Through the Insight Leadership Architecture and Eric's facilitation was able to explore many facets of being a leader and as a result I feel more confident in my leadership role. I know that I can guide my team through uncertain times to achieve our desired results!!

Accountability4Results

Accountability is congruence between agreements and deliverables; more simply, follow-through on promises and expectations.

Business and performance results are born from effective and consistent individual and team accountability. Accountable individuals and teams deliver on their agreements. While good teams are a mix of people with different abilities and points of view, this very mix presents fertile ground for incongruence to form. Because effective communication and collaboration are some of our greatest challenges, having a cognitive framework along with specific checks and balances for a meeting, a team task, or a significant project can make all the difference.

The telltale signs of accountability breakdown:

  • Missed deadlines
  • Unhealthy conflict among team members
  • Blaming others for inaccuracy
  • Dropping the ball with customers
  • Inefficient unsupervised performance
  • Complaints that staff is not being recognized
  • Overload and overwhelm

The Accountability4Results MAPTM is a powerful, yet easy to use and teach four-part process that moves individuals and teams from fall-through --, a state of blame and inefficiency -- to follow-through --the empowered state of responsibility and completion.

Benefits of using the Accountability4Results MAP include the capacity and skills to:

  • close the gap between ideas and execution
  • sharpen performance
  • stimulate coherent communication
  • ask the right questions that set a course for purposeful outcomes
  • generate shared thinking for vibrant, accountable planning and follow through

The Accountability4Results MAP is delivered as an interactive workshop or as a consultative forum with senior executives. With a minimum of time, money, and energy investment, leaders, managers, and staff can expect wide-ranging outcomes that include the ability to:

  • ask poignant questions that inspire accountability
  • understand and establish context that sets the stage for clear deliverables
  • renew purpose to ensure fresh outcomes
  • involve more staff in big picture thinking and plans for execution
  • set deadlines that are unambiguous and attainable

Accountability4Results MAP develops team members who understand and use specific, on-the-job skills that increase effectiveness and execution. Learners will master when and how to apply these skills most effectively and immediately in the “real world” workplace.

Mentoring

Mentoring is a relationship in which a more experienced person guides and supports another person to develop professionally. It is limited to neither age nor rank. Leaders have a responsibility to develop future leaders and mentoring, when done well, is a powerful, vehicle to do so.

The Mentor’s job is to promote intentional learning in line with mutually defined objectives. A Mentor provides relevant knowledge or information on specific competencies identified as a need by the mentee and valued in the organization.

Mentoring is based on the Mentee's agenda and focuses on skill development and potential. The focus of Mentoring discussions and activities are identified and guided by the Mentee through Individual Development Plan.

We have successfully implemented customized Mentoring Programs that include the traditional one-to-one, as well as group and peer mentoring models and a combination of both in various organizations. We design and deliver the Mentor training to assure you have Mentors with the right skills and mindsets to assist with the development of their Mentees.

Incorporating mentoring in your organization will result in employees who are prepared to move up and around in the organization and a greater commitment to the organization’s Mission and Vision. Individuals who are provided with mentoring will be more committed to their work and the organization along with having a greater allegiance to the organization in the future.

Mentoring can fulfill the conditions that lead to profitability, retention, revenue and work satisfaction. It does this by ensuring that each mentee has someone interested in his or her development and knows that someone cares about them as individuals.
